Volume started to cut out with SED wing C 6L6, Swapped them with GT, not so much, after bias. Volume is lower than usual, breaks up sooner in clean channel. Swapped the tubes again with the original tubes, which are still good. Same symptoms. The amp had been biased at 65 more less and zero...

i was playing my egnater tweaker 40, made a loud buzzing noise and stopped working. i unplugged all pedals, turned it on, all i hear is buzzing. the 6l6 tubes (ruby's) are glowing red on stndby and blue on play position. bythe way, only have had it 2 mos... :no:

I installed 6v6 tung sol in my friends tweaker, now I get An oscillating hum if that makes any sense. Moreso with gain. Now I know the tweakers are cathode bias and don't need Biasing, the ts from the tube store have a sticker that says Bias point at 25, ok. I connected my bias probe to them...
