Funny you said that. With the Fender/Schaller loks I was squeaking it while I was playing Tom Morello style. :D
It's just goofing around but it was fun. Put a little spice in the music.
The Fender/Schaller loks are the worse. I had a set on my strat and the U shape thing rides on the button. Squeaks like hell on both ends that the guitar vibrates from it.
As stated above, it goes to the amp.
Same here. There's only two places for my guitars, in my hands or in the case. It's a habit, even for a bathroom break it's in the case. My 3 guitars are all custom jobs and I'll go to pieces if any breaks.
IIRC, The GT6L6-CHPs were really smooth sounding in my Alchemist. I put in the SED 6L6GCs after them and noticed the difference. They were both biased the same and the CHPs has the flat response while the SEDs were more 3D.
I liked them both.
The FXs on the GT-10 is killer dude. I have one and wow, it's loaded. Pretty sophisticated though and involves some learning curves.
I figure you might be happy with an ME-70 as it's mostly knob based and can be used as separate pedals. Won't involve so much a learning curve there. I had that...
