I am wondering how much of an impact the effects loop preamp tube has on the overall tone of the amp. I don't use the effects loop at all,but noticed that I was getting some white noise when I was playing. I did a tap test and that was the tube that sounded different.

Should I be worried if the line coming into my house 25 volts to high. We had a problem with the power company's power line.
