These are still kings of higain amps for gigging. Don't push gain past 4-5, crank it and they eat any modern butique amp for breakfest. Generic, boring, compressed as usual comments comes everytime but it is Your riffs and playing, not the amp 😆
If amp have a loop is what matter, there is no other way, unless 2nd master volume, to boost overall volume in front preamp in higain amp.
Classic issue with plexi/JCM800 amps in 2 guitar band.
Do You use FX8 in stereo ? You can use OUT1 R to feed the tuner. There is slightly tone change with PT3 buffer on and FX8 DSP bypass clearer and less tone-changing. What matter is first and last buffer in chain.
It doesn't hurt put in on guitar when You store them but for me is a must when bring guitar to rig or rehearsal. I had few guitar which arrival with dent in fretboard and make it annoying as fuck. It was Suhr guitar with stainless frets and GG case and it is pain in the ass. Easier to put 10€ to...
Effect loop is a must with with JCM800 when You play in a band. It should be done without any drilling. There are still a plenty of them on market so no problem and more likely will be always here because those hoarders gona die and younger one fuck those big and heavy amps 😀
Better has modded...
Fantastic unit for basic live rig in 4CM and best price/size/quality unit on market. EQs, comps and noise gates are outstanding , ditto delays, reverbs and modulation.
Humbusters are not supported and not needed, because external power adapter.
Fm3 has noise issues with 4cm and worse conventors...
i had one of those korean chameleon's and it is on par with MIM or even MIJ and nicer than MIJ Jackson. Fullshred works great in bridge, tight and quick bottom end, precise sharp top end and still more organic than ceramic pickups.
I haven't seen many of those new Jackson in EU yet.
A lot of cryin and envy about younger players... absolute TGP only 20 years later.
90s and 2000 were best because Your head stuck there.
There are still a lot great players soundwise and playing wise today, just explore. On the other side, I revisiting old metal albums from 80/90s , which are...
Mesa is deeper cab and sound great and bigger than Friedman. Friedman with brand new V30 was quite a disapointing cab for a price. It didn't have castors and need to sit on the floor to have bass response
