damn, it would appear that all the Bill Kelliher model explorer's are already out of stock. Geez, those went quick. Perhaps Gibson should take that into consideration and put more Explorer's out there.
Explorer's are great guitars. I really like the Bill Kelliher model, particularly because of the binding and toggle switch location. They are truly awesome sounding guitar's. Wouldn't mind them making a whole line without pickguards, just like those from the mid 80's, and the 84 RI. But not...
I'm not seeing any of the regular white/black/red Gibson explorer's for sale on site's such as musiciansfriend.com or sweetwater.com. Are they not making or selling them any longer? I saw the new Bill Kelliher signature model. Which I can't wait to buy, but I love the regular Explorer's...
What would be the correct way to plug everything in with a Mesa Roadster head and then a Marshall 1960a cab and a Marshall 1960bx cab. And then what would be the correct way to hook everything up but swap out the 1960a for a mesa rectifier cab. Thanks so much
I see them going for about $2800-$4000 on ebay and craigslist all the time. most recently I saw an '83 pop up for $2100. Wish I coulda picked that one up.
one cab with v30's and another with greenbacks would be cool. already have one with 75's. or maybe v30 and greenback in a x pattern. there's a bogner cab near me for sale with v30's and h30's in a x pattern. that would be cool, but I don't want to pay that much for a bogner cab.
Right now I'm stuck using a 1960a cab. I'd much prefer to be using a cab with v30's but I just don't have one. Funny thing is the 2205 the other guy is using is being ran through a mesa cab. his marshall head thru a mesa cab. my mesa cab thru a marshall cab. we should switch that up.
