Testing out some Tonex captures of my 50th Anniversary Mesa Triple Rectifier. The captures are DI. They are used with an IR here. They slam with a real cabinet!

I love winged c 6l6 and have been very skeptical of psvane. However, the psvane 12ax7 are very good. Musical with a relaxed high end.

Did a reamp with a new V2 Tonex capture. Definitely a welcome improvement.

How close was it for you?

Absolutely. I'm setup to record DI captures at the moment. This was the amp with a DI box tapping the signal before the cabinet and one of my IRs loaded in the daw. No post processing.

Attempted to match the bands by ear.

That is extremely long. Check if hardware scheduling is on. I know others with a 1060 were getting it done in less time. I believe 10 series cards are no longer supported though.

With the update running the extended training time.

My 3060 laptop takes about 14 minutes for the extended training. My gpu has about 4,000 cuda cores and yours has about 6,000. My understanding is the 4090 with 16,000 cuda cores and has a time of 2.5 minutes. My guess is a 5080 then would be about 5 minutes. Hmm.

I have the Sustainiac version and really like it.

What graphics card do you have? I need to update mine.

Just got this. Hoping it can stack up against the Mesa 5 band. Will be testing it against the Mark VII EQ. Any experiences?
