Hi guys. Sent an email to Dave and have yet to hear back. No worries though. Figured I’d post here in the meantime.
My BE100 is starting to get very noisy. I assume it could be a preamp tube but I have no idea and no spares at the moment. I know....
The noise seems to be across all channels...
I received my brand new 2017 Friedman BE100 a couple weeks ago and am loving it. I know it's been said a lot before but it's possibly the best amp I have ever owned. Love it.
I have a question regarding the clean channel. Is it normal for the Bass and Treble knobs for the clean channel to sort...
I was playing my SL67 last night and the amp all of a sudden went from sounding glorious to fizzling out and dying. No power! First thing I did was check the fuses and it looks like the 2 amp fuse is blown. The 0.5 amp fuses seems fine. As well, the EL34 tubes seem fine. I will pick up a a new...
Just received my new Suhr SL67. Amazing amp! As I really appreciate a quality build(and this is quality folks!) I had to take it out of it's chassis to have a look at the internals and noticed two, what looks like, bias pots. I am no electrician by any means but have biased Marshalls in the...
I have a Marshall 1962HW and Suhr SL67 incoming and am planning on running it into a RL at home. Are there any concerns with cranking these amps into the RL? Does the RL have an limitations as far as how much "volume" you can pump into it? Overheating?
Anyone running two of these with one head? If so how are you running it exactly?
I currently gig and record with one using a Friedman Dirty Shirley Mini. I am using a custom mixed 3rd party IR from Redwirez and am really digging the sounds but am wondering what it would be like to run with two...
I am considering picking one of these amps up. I already have the TL and love it with my Marshall JVM410HJS. Can the Torpedo handle a Marshall 1959HW head? I am not looking to crank it to 10 or anything. Mainly looking to use the 1959HW with drive pedals.
Hi,
My TL seems to be over heating. There's a message on the front that states Too Hot, Stop Playing. Does this mean that I am running my amps volume too high? I am using it with a JVM410HJS with the clean channels volume at around 1 o'clock and the master around 10:30 to 11 O'clock. The fan...
Hi Everyone,
Is it normal for the Torpedo Live to emit noise as if there was a small speaker inside it? Also the fan is very noisy. Is this normal as well?
I am also having some connectivity issues. At times I get a very low "staticy" sound. For example The other day I had set everything up at...
So I have had my second gig with the Torpedo Live and I am having a volume issue. I am loosing some serious volume from time to time. My setup is as follows:
From my guitar I am going straight into a Marshall 410HJS. From the Marshall I am using an Axe Fx 2 in its effects loop using simple...
Is there any reason why you would place effects in an amp's FX loop and after the Torpedo as described here: http://support.two-notes.com/knowledgeb ... rticle=217 and not just connect effects traditionally in an amps effects loop, bypassing the torpedo all together effects-wise?
Hi guys,
I have a Torpedo Live on the way and I was wondering if it was safe to use it with a 65' Fender Twin Reissue. The back of the amp is rated at 4ohms where as the Torpedo is labeled a 8ohms.
