    I did that. Better off going with some lower pot values for that effect. Started with 500k and then tried 250k. Eventually settled on 300k…….but I’m running no tone pot. But the pot values have a much bigger effect than UO, degaussed, roughcast, and full strength A5’s if you’re just trying...

    Ordering a JB with less output from Duncan Custom Shop

    I have a Duncan Custom Shop Frankenstein that I put a degaussed A5 in. It sounds exactly like you described. I recommend trying A3 or a degaussed A5 in your JB first.

    I’ve owned the OG Deliverance and the 50/CL twice. They all had what I can only describe as a “crispy” voicing. I hear it in this clip as well.

    ……and things sound so much better. Removed an MXR micro flanger out front, a UAFX Brigade in loop, and a 10-band MXR in loop. Not sure which one was the tone sucker, but it is a drastic improvement in clarity.

    Yeah that kicked ass and one of the reasons I tried it. Maybe I just don’t have your chops. Not maybe……I don’t! Lol. I think it might have dove something to do with my blocked, vintage trem. Bee is just too beefy on this guitar.

    Well I’m kind of disappointed. Don’t know if it’s the A8, the hex poles, or my lack of a Floyd……..but the pickup is extremely low middy and fat. More so than a Dimarzio SD. Also sounds much hotter than 9k. This is my first experience with A8, so maybe that’s it. But it’s not staying...
