Huh, didn't know they where they bad for some people. I was pretty ambivalent about strings until I tried the cobalts and fell in love with them. Now thats all I use.

Another vote for fender staggered locking tuners. Have them on 2 guitars and never have had any problems

Check out a Mesa Maverick if you can. That on channel one with the gain at noon and my Blue Angle together is one of my favorite tones. No mesa head or combo is light. I move 4x12's easier than I can either of my combos.

Something to be said for a good deep tissue massage. Stretching and some targeted exercise help alot too. My muscles get so tight around my shoulders that it can cause my arms to go numb while playing. Talk to you doctor, figure out is it arthritis, sore muscles, or a pinched nerve.

I have some green berets in a mesa maverick. For $50 a piece they are pretty good. Definitely have the woody sounds you get from greenbacks. For what they want now, just get the real thing.
