You should also check out the PRS MT15. I own both the 5153 50 watt and the MT-15 and both would do what you want. Don't underestimate the little 15 watt that thing's a BEAST!
Both my Wolfgangs had screws that were just a tiny bit to long holding the nut in place. Correct that problem and the guitar will stay in tune, at least mine did...
I've never own the 1101 but I did have an RP1000 for awhile and before that used a 2120 for many years. If i had to choose between the two it would for sure be the 2120 for me. Although it takes awhile to get the programming down there are tons of great sounds in that box. The problem I ran into...
I have the first 50 watt head Kruse modded to the stealth. It sounds phenomenal! You have to really crank this amp to gig volume to really appreciate the red channel IMHO. Depending upon how much gain you're used to playing with it can get out of control really quick so a good noise gate is...

I think Eddies rhythm playing during the Sammy era was on FIRE! Personally I think that was Ed at his finest and the best playing of his career. I also love the old Van Halen stuff with Dave. I just see it as two completely different bands because the music was so different....
As long as it broke at the clamp on the bridge just unwind a little of the string at the tuning head and clamp it in and play on it for awhile. change them all at a later time when you feel like it.
