    ANOTHER TOURMASTER BITES THE DUST

I realize this is a fairly old thread, but have you had a lot of problems with your tourmaster?? My power plant went out in like 2014. I talked to Vlad at egnater and he wasn't helpful at all. When a company says something like that is a "known issue" with those Amos, they should replace it...

    Tourmaster issues. Imagine that

Man, I really love my 4212. People constantly ask me how I get such great tone, and I tell them the truth. I just plug my Les Paul studio straight into my 4212. For what I play (punk, ska, rockabilly, psychobilly) it is perfect. However..... My power plant died back in 2014 (I think). And as...

    Tourmaster 4212 Transformer issues...my turn

Let me start off by saying I love my Tourmaster 4212. I've owned Mesas, Marshalls, Fenders, A Matchless, A Hi-Watt, a Dr Z! Problems with my tourmaster 4212

So I changed out the internal and main fuses, and changed 2 of the power tubes...seems to have fixed the problem. I know it is suggested to change all 4 tubes with a matched set, but I couldn't do that due to financial restraints. Is that going to pose any problems?

    Problems with my tourmaster 4212

I took the head unit out, and near the power switch, there are 2 fuses. One was blown. I replaced one of them with the extra that is in the main fuse chassis, fired the amp up, and had sound. It was a little brash sounding, but there was sound, and volume. After playing for about 1 minute, it...

    Problems with my tourmaster 4212

I have a tourmaster 4212 and I noticed it sounding funny for the past few days...tonight in rehearsal, I kept getting a loud hum, louder than the volume was set...and when I didn't have the hum, I had less volume than usual. All of a sudden, my amp went silent. The power light is on, as are...
