He and MANY others are known for redoing those vocals in the studio for their " live" studio releases. Listen to all the bootlegs to know how he sounded night to night.
Looks like 2002 ushered in the " new" Zakk as well. Still playing cleanly here but all over the squealy harmonics...
Sharon and Kelly look like walking skeletons at this point. Surgeries and Ozempic do a skeleton make..
Also call me crazy but I much prefer Sabbath with Dio.
I had one of the modules.. was essentially a jcm800 preamp with a bit more on tap. Sounded good. These Randalls fly under he radar. I think the Lynch hardwired model ( no modules, just 3 channel amp) with the i believe a clean - brahma - Judge circuits was a fantastic sounding amp. No many made.
I once had tickets to a show in Italy to see Phish but only because Satch was opening.. got to the show and heard Satch had cancelled, scalped my ticket for next to nothing to a ticket vendor, left my buddies and went home. I thought and still think, that Phish is shit. Funny enough, I have had...
He's in an echo chamber here " Yeah Ronnie ! He really is an asshole! Yeah! " . Looks like Ronnie went where no man should go.. wishing death even in a passing statement is just one of those things you don't do and he should know that being of Italian origin and southern Italian origin where the...
I was having fun with my comments but for sure it was a good interview and he does seem like a good guy. I am sure he might of had a bit of a temper in his youth as well but the way he describes the Dio situation makes sense. I mean how many times has a wife manager destroyed everything? (...
I'd agree with that.. Jack Black had to do damage control for his buddy. Regardless of political leanings, it is insane that people ( at the time) were cheering on an assassination attempt. However in looking to now, I can see why so many people were cheering but it still doesn't make it right...
It is pretty cool that they recreated the look and feel of that after hours show they did with Randy and tried to even match the live off the board rather than overdubs. ( though his voice is likely overdubbed)
lol I never thought of that. I like the guy and think he is permanently running off cocaine and coffee but you make a strong point. Always with the kid movie angle... but hey, it's possible for people not to be pedos but like to spend time with kids right?? You know, like MJ
I will say this though. Morello is at least a big fan and he was rocking a RR shirt so he knows when respect is due. Also, on his own merit, that guy was an innovator. He grooves hard in Rage and I respect the hell out of him. That band is a force and made for live shows. He gets a pass. Reid...
I would say it looks like it was the Nuno show. Thank god for that guy. Zakk just looks so ridiculous.. would it kill that guy to square off that beard, keep long hair and just wear jeans? I thought Ozzy looked pretty bad and sang badly from what I saw. Great career, it's time now. This show...
