I'd ask yourself the following questions: do you like the amp? Are you having any problems with it? Does it sound good? Make your decision based on those answers.

The renegade manual says you can use 6v6's but "jj only!" Can you really only use jj's? I have some electro harmonix 6v6's that I would like to try. If I can use the e-h what is the bias level? Thanks!

Guys- I really like playing through channel one with the gain cranked. Great bluesy overdrive. Today, just for the hell of it, I also dimed the channel volume. The gain controls the pre-amp tube. However, what about the channel volume? Does that drive the pre-amp tube or the power tubes...

On a Fender board I seem to have inadvertently caused a bit of a ruckus about this. I am confused because some people seem to think you have to measure it when you bias, others don't. If you have to, why don't you have to do it on the Egnater amps? What is it anyway? Thanks!

Guys- Got two Eventide pedals- Time Factor and Mod Factor. Great pedals! Question: Both of these are MIDI capable, but none of them is what I think would be called a timing master. I cannot tap tempo on one and have the other lock to it through MIDI. At least I don't think it will do that...
