Look no further than the V30s, this is your prob. They are great speakers but they MUST be broken in before they will hit their tonal sweet spot. Try putting the speakers through a loop at very high volume with the cab facing down on the floor, throw a few blankets over the top and let it go...
All in all I think they're "okay" and actually commend them for having success at putting out some straight up rock and roll in this day and age BUT...the lead singer is too..."screechy". That and the schtick, it's just too much for me. As someone earlier mentioned, I really like The Darkness...
If your style of music is metal and you're wanting aggressive tone and youre not able to get it out of your 20th Shiva??? IDK, something doesn't add up. Perhaps your idea of aggression is fizz, can-o-bees type tone from your amp?? Yeah the Bogner aint going to help you out in the dept.

I have a fairly new 20th 101B. It has developed an intermittent popping sound on the clean channel. It's barely audible on the blue and red channels too but it's there. I disconnected all cables except the speaker cab and it's still there so I assume it to be tube related. Any insight before...
