The Diezel service manual says the reverb driver and return in the Schmidt is V3. It’s worth swapping it out to see if that solves it.

Thanks for the info. I’ll check out the video
I’m not sure if the one I had was faulty with the bleed through. I’ll definitely see about picking one up then.
I was originally looking at the SD1 but saw a decent deal on the Maxon and went for it
I’ll probably try an SD1 too if I can find an older one for a reasonable price. I had an 90’s one years ago but the bleed through on bypass had me selling it.
I just received the Actition 8 button MIDI switcher and now have my Hagen set up complete. I’m really glad I found this thread.
Thanks Phillhouse for the help.
It really is ready to use straight out of the box and super easy to program. Diezel deserve credit for making the MIDI interface...
Thomann stocks Diezel amps. Some are on back order but the lead time on the VH4 is 2-3 weeks

I ordered a VH2 at the end of 2022 and it said 6-7 week delivery time but I had it within about half the time estimated.
I have a Hagen and Big Max and using a Les Paul and SG with Duncan Distortions in the bridge SH2 Jazz in the neck. Drop D and C# standard tuning.
I’m still experimenting with speakers but currently really liking V30s and Mesa C90s
Sounds absolutely killer!
Hey, old thread I know but can I ask if you are using an external power supply with the Actition midi switcher?
I’m looking at this or the Tech 21 midi moose and not wanting to mess up my Hagen.
Not sure if I need an external power source or if it powers from the Hagen? I looked at the...
Hi, I have a Hagen (great amp, I absolutely love it) and the phase definitely flips between channels 3 and 4. I just checked by running it with my Diezel Big Max (single channel).
Glad to be of help!
I expect the RV would sound incredible whatever you put through it. I think you’re right about the mic placement playing a big part.
You honestly can’t go wrong with Diezel. Their build quality and sound is top notch.
I never thought I’d sell my Mesa cabs but if I can...
I have a Diezel (Germany) FL212 cab that I’ve recently started to use with my Diezel Hagen and Big Max amps and I can honestly say it’s worth the money.
I’ve always used rear loaded Mesa cabs until now and was a little hesitant in purchasing the front loaded Diezel cab but I absolutely prefer...
Mesa cabs and Diezel amps do sound great together!
I swapped out the Diezel FL 2x12 with the Mesa T4416 V30’s and really couldn’t be happier with it now. The thicker low mids work well with the Hagen. Channel 4 is getting more use as a result.
I’m keeping the Mesa rear loaded 2x12 as it’s...
