I listened to this for months before I found out it was AI, crestfallen.
AI as a tool is great and will be helpful, but the world needs better safeguards/detection to prevent fraud/abuse.
More and more devices are starting to support it.
The Darkglass Anagram uses it as it's main modeling function, though technically this is a bass focused product (you can still use it for guitar though).
Some random third party licensed the Sunn brand and circuits.
They're only putting out copies of the solid state amps. Think I saw a quote from them about how the Model T is "too expensive" which should tell you all you need to know about this cash grab.
The used original solid state amps go...
Anyone know the what the deal is with these reissues from Fender a while back?
I see a single hole by me for $2k but have no idea how accurate the circuit is compared to the originals.
Don't get the hype with them. I don't need a guy who knows less about gear than me calling me every month.
Bigger issue is they're also consistently the most expensive online retailer. Every time I buy something there is ALWAYS someone somewhere offering 10% off or no taxes or interest free...
Converted from a combo or just fancy new headshell?
Might be interested. I emailed Mike B the other week and he said he isn't taking in anything right now since they're figuring out support for when he retires at the end of the year.
I absolutely see this comparison but I'm here for it. Also let's not pretend Zakk didn't do the southern metal thing in the 90s.
Solid BLS song. Not breaking any new ground but I enjoyed it.
Is there a TLDR of all the different versions of this amp?
Like simulclass vs not, and pentode vs triode. Not sure I fully understand the tonal difference between these options or which are the famous/popular ones.
Prefer the MTL in this video, low end sounds more clear to me. Don't know how much of that is due to the boost (never played a Duality) but I feel like those types of boosts help with low end clean up.
