Just picked up a helios. Call me crazy but with my neck pickup split the clean channel on the hot input is prob my favorite clean sound on any channel switching amp I've had (besides maybe the mesa boogie mark v). Def prefer this clean to the 16' brown eye that I just got rid of. It's too late...

100 it is I guess. I live in an apartment so its a little late to try her out but I'm stoked.

I love all of the clips I have heard of the 100 online though I realize youtube clips aren't the best way to judge an amp based on the amount of compression added through recording and uploading.

Hey sorry for spamming you guys with another post but I really want to make sure I get this purchase right. Which helios do you guys prefer the 100 or the 50? I see alot of people online state that they prefer the 50 due to the sweeter tone and have seen some people claim that the 100 is "stiff"...

Can you get solid low/mid gain tones out of it?

Did you get a chance to check out the 50 watt version? Trying to decide on which one to get.

I can live with that. Was considering the eclipse for the clean channel but I think I'd rather have the option of the plexi input and 70's mode.

Awesome good enough for me. Think I am going to pull the trigger on one. Currently have a 2016 be100 but I'm looking for something with a little more rawness to it and based on the clips I've heard the helios seems right up my ally.

Hello I am interested in the earlier version of the helios. What is the clean like when plugging into the hot input. I see alot of people complaining about it and I am just wondering how hot it becomes. Is it a light crunch? Can you still get a decent clean sound from rolling back the guitars...

Anyone know how long it usually takes to have Dave mod an amp? I recently acquired a 2014 BE100 in a trade and am considering having it modded to the 2016 specs.

I bought the cab used so the speakers are broken in. To be fair I love the small box and it def still sounds good with the v30's I just want a slightly different flavor. V30's sound very hi-fi sounding to my ears and I'm just looking for something with a more classic vibe.

Yeah right now I'm stuck between either doing 2 greenbacks or swapping one of the v30's for a 75 watt creamback.
