Let's play the FedEx guess your delivery game

I had a package FedEx said was going to be delivered this past Tuesday morning, then Tuesday end of day, then Wednesday morning, then Wednesday afternoon, then end of day Wednesday, then Thursday by 1:30, then by end of day Thursday, and it finally arrived late Thursday evening, so I wasted...

    I Don’t Care…I love

The first concert I ever went to when I was a teenage kid way back in 1977 was Ted Nugent. He was great, and was a big influence on me. My band played Cat Scratch Fever in the high school talent show. Fun times back then!

    Buying tubes from ARS

ARS is great, they've been around forever. Their dual blue filter caps are the best replacements for old Marshall caps.

    Describing amp settings.

I set my amps using the 24-hour clock, because it's 12 better, now, innit?

Dumpster diving behind GC Rochester today!

If you variac it down, the DC supply to the switching and boost relays will stop working at some point, so it is not recommended.

    F@#$ your rare....here's rare.

Wow, Ed, that sounds terrible! I'm glad to hear you are recovering. Hopefully, you'll get back to some semblance of normal soon. I'm doing fine, hoping to get back to building amps sometime in the near future, as my military avionics contract design work seems to finally be slowing down a...

Hey, Ed! How are you doing these days? Been a long time! And yes, Michael Schenker is indeed my all-time favorite guitarist.

    F@#$ your rare....here's rare.

No, those started out as custom order Greenbacky type. speaker we had designed from a speaker manufacturer. I think they later became Warehouse Guitar speakers, or maybe they were always called that, but I could be wrong, it may have been a different company altogether. Anyway, Mojotone...

That amp was the last model produced at the Georgia shop before we shut down and I moved back to SC to look after my parents. It's been over 20 years, so I don't remember exactly, but we normally bought chassis in 25 piece quantities, so that's probably why. Orange goop version, $6500.

$4500? I'm going to have to start manufacturing used Sabres. $5500 if you want it gooped.

Scorpions Mattias Jabs about Guitar Gear Now and Then....Amps versus modeling

Rudolf looks like he is just there to kick some ass in case the interviewer mentions modeling amps more than once.

    Any tone talk watchers?

I love the show, it wouldn't be the same without Marc, he is the perfect sidekick for Dave, in my opinion, and I'm sure he puts in a ton of work to make it happen. Gear talk, drinking, industry greats, famous guests, what's not to like???

Marshall headshell modifications - metal grille

Those look like standard gutter guard material you can buy at Lowe's or Home Depot. They are good for rear panel vents on heads, but would be too thin for an unsupported front panel like the one in your original picture. For that, you need expanded metal. Do a search for expanded metal and...
