Not sure what you were expecting. The studio has plenty of nice gear. Richie isn't filthy rich.

The BE100 Super Ultra Mega Deluxe. Seriously there's no end to the updates. 2 or 3 minimum per year at one point, not sure about now.

Damn, it really scratches up that easily? I thought they made some alteration to it recently that made it less prone to damage.

Very bland sounding. No real character. Neck was too thin. Guitar was heavy (not a big deal). Frets were too thin, binding broke easily, etc.

I use 7music for FLAC downloads of albums I can't get easily.

Has more to do with your speakers than amp wattage as far as volume goes. 5 watt mode sounds like crap on pretty much everything. Why neuter the amp? Can you really be surprised?

The negative feedback switch should accomplish that.

Agreed. Seems each version gets progressively more open and dynamic. Older models were a bit too processed for my liking. Seems like Dave has hit his stride here with a rawer tone. Now...will he change it again? Let's hope he's finalized this baby. ;)
