That's after I switched it from rear mount to front mount. Got about and inch now. It's good.

Fixed: The EM12 is thick, and the Mesa combo is 1/2 inch plywood. I had enough room to front mount the speaker, gives me about an inch clearance. I'm good with that. Thank everyone again!

Greeting Folks, I put a EM12 in my Boogie combo and the magnet is huge and leaves about a 1/4" between the magnet and the power tubes. Is that an issue? Thanks again!

(Correction on the cost) Update: After exactly 4 weeks, Mesa called and my MKV90 is done. Few bad relays, diodes, new reverb jacks. Cost was 140 and 40 to ship it back. That's not bad at all. Considering The Authorized guy they originally sent me to, had it for 3 mos and couldn't diagnose...

Well, got an email from Mesa. The MarkV90 is done. They are closed Friday but should get a call Monday to see what the damage will be. 4 weeks exactly. Of course it's killing me to get it back. I'll keep you posted!

Yep I've had MKIV's that lasted for years without issue. This is a MKV, the guts look very close the that jp. I'm glad I sent it to Mesa.

Got a status from Mesa, they have had it for 2 weeks, should have some idea in another 2 weeks, 4 weeks behind.

Used Ernie Ball, the older JP6's.
