Locke body, MJT finish, Musikraft neck, SS frets, original Floyd, SH-5 from the ‘80s. Was a semi-playable dog that I was ready to give up on and part out until Pete Skermetta got his hands on it a couple of years ago. Now it’s my best playing guitar and it sounds great.

I owned this exact Emplexador, a couple of years before the guy made this video. Not discounting your experience, but I felt the one I had didn’t lack any cut. If that amp popped up again at the right price, I would snag it in a heartbeat.

This. Those amps cover a ton of ground. The one I had sounded like old Slayer when boosted with a TS. At the time, I didn't even know any Slayer riffs, but it was unmistakable. This is going to sound weird AF, but a Top Hat Emplexador made me a Slayer fan.
