I have one guitar with floating Floyd and I'd like to put a tremolo stopper on it. I know there are a few brands out there. Is one better than the other? Which do you prefer? Thanks in advance!
I think thats the thing he lacked. Compared to Randy, Jake, and Zakk, he didn't have good stage presence imo. But I thought he had a better live tone than any of them, and was/is a rippin player!! To be fair, he played with Ozzy in the late 90s when Ozzy was competing with grunge and nu...
I am probably going to sell both of these. I really like them, but unfortunately don't have a use for them. I had a credit at the Pawn shop which is the main reason I got them. I think they both sound damn good, but I'm pretty comfortable gigging with my JEL20 or my Helix.
I got a great deal on both of these at a pawn shop the other day. I think I like the Mercury a little better but both are cool. Is anyone else into these?
I love mine. I was able to dial in two really good tones on both channels. I've done my last 5 gigs with it and couldn't be happier. All of my guitars have humbuckers though. What amps do you have that you prefer over the JEL20?
The Guitar Attic in Daytona (actually Holly Hill, Fla, about a mile north of Daytona on US1) is a really good store. The owner Randy Pepper is a great guy. He has a pretty good revolving inventory and always has cool stuff in there. https://www.guitarattic.com/
Honestly, the Pod Go sounds as good as the Helix, but it can't do as much at the same time. Sort of like a pc with a smaller processor and less memory. If your only using a few effects and boost, you can definitely gig with it. I have, and then went to the Helix. I'm going to go back to my...
I used the HXFX using the 4 cable method as well with my amps but switched to a Pod-Go. Pod-Go does the same thing as the HXFX, but has the pedal I can use as a Wah/Vol/Whammy instead of bringing seperate pedals. Also, if my amp has an issue, I can use the Pod-Go as a backup to get through a...
I do pretty much all my gigs with my Warmoth super strats and haven't touched my Gibsons in a year. (I love the Charvel as well) They are real versatile guitars and I can get a lot of tones out of them. The one on the bottom sounds the best but they all sound really good. My only complaint...
Here are my superstrats: three Warmoths and one Charvel. The butterscotch Warmoth (under the blue) is currently in the process of having the polyurethane finish taken off and it will have a tung oil finish. The guitar on the bottom is an ash body with a maple top and it sounds the best. I...
I run my PodGo directly into the PA and use Shure IEMs. I just purchased a Helix LT and will be using that soon. I was using the PodGo with my mini Jubilee 1/4 stack using the 4 cable method and just using the effects as my pedalboard. That is the best sounding rig for me. I played the last...
Thanks Will. Do you have any IR cabs you can recommend? I aslo have an HX Effects that I use but the Pod Go took its place since I can use the expression pedal for wah/vol, and the tuner seems to be a little better than the one on the HX. (? to me anyway) Lots of people prefer the Fractal...
I bought a PodGo about a month ago. I've been real impressed with the sounds (especially for the money) and wanted to know what others thought? I still need an amp behind me, and use my Marshall Mini Jubilee/2x12 and use the PodGo as my pedalboard which has made my load in a little easier...
