Following up, I think my experience was due to my own perceptions. My speaker cab + power amp was exacerbating the bass difference and I was psychologically carrying that over to other uses. After spending way more time tweaking through headphones I was able to balance things out nicely. Yes...

Line out into a power amp/speaker, headphone out with cab sim on, and XLR w/cab sim into my band's in-ear monitoring rig all sound the same.

Thanks! My wording was weird--I have the ReVolt Guitar and am concerned about its bass response. I get that the EQs are different between the two sides, but should I have to set the bass knobs of the two sides essentially opposite of each other (clean side almost off and drive side almost maxed)...

Hey, any ReVolt users, has anyone else experienced what I have? I love the tones in the ReVolt, but there's a huge difference in bass response between the clean and the drive channels. I have to turn the bass on the drives up to 3:00 at least just to match the clean channel with its bass knob...
