    Marshall 1959 HW tones

Thanks for checking out, man. You are correct, in some sessions the strings do fight my guitar, I think. I didn't make any automation, I probably should though!

    Marshall 1959 HW tones

Old new song I just mixed, after many years that I actually wrote it. It's got some Marshall 1959 HW tones, well not really... I recorded with a Kemper profile, I made it with a Suhr Reactive Load Box and it sounds pretty close, actually. No pedals on this one. Les Paul straight into Kemper...

George & Paul meets Sting inspired tune. Vemuram Butter Machine content.

I love to play with this people. Love the tone of my Vemuram Butter Machine. Probably the only distortion pedal I’ve ever liked it. Cheers

Is the EVH 5150 III underrated?

I can see why many people prefer some of the high gain "boutique" amps out there, they are really good amps indeed. But is the 5150 III plastic sounding? No punch? I think I'll disagree on that, maybe it's got something to do with the speakers because the amp will certainly sound a bit harsh...

    Vemuram Butter Machine

It seems that Mr. Landau knows tone like nobody else, I suppose. The thing is crazy good. Even the name. Smoooooth.

Is the EVH 5150 III underrated?

Totally agreed! I remember trying a 5150 head back in 1992 and I thought it sounded terrible... Although maybe I hear differently nowadays.

Is the EVH 5150 III underrated?

Maybe underrated isn't the best word, because as you pointed out, there millions of them out there. But for its price, I still think it sounds as good as even better than any amp, at any price point. This is pretty shocking to me.

    BMAN Egnater module

Oh man, I used to love it! I'm into the Synergy gear but I want my old BMAN preamp, from Egnater, again. Not the current Synergy one. Please, consider making them again! Please! And the Vox one.

Is the EVH 5150 III underrated?

Hi there, how come after so many years passed by, so many great amp builders making awesome heads, multi channel heads, hundreds of preamps, plugins and modellers, the EVH 5150 III still sounds (to me) so perfect?! Channel 1 can do early AC/DC tones easily. If you wanna go nuts with it, just...

Marshall 1959 HW vs Synergy preamps

I think the head sounds like it's about to explode. The preamps do sound great but there is something about diming a real Marshall that it's really hard to get on preamps. I mean, this kind of amp sounds amazing when you dime it. Not every amp, I think. Having said that, the Plexi module sounds...

Marshall 1959 HW vs Synergy preamps

Yes, to me the Synergies sound similar because they all have the same Marshlley DNA. The head sound in the same ballpark but a little different, not too much. Subtle. The Synergies feel a bit "smoother" maybe.

Marshall 1959 HW vs Synergy preamps

I used a Fryette Power Station straight into Pro Tools (added Celestion 4x12 Greenback Balanced IR).

Marshall 1959 HW vs Synergy preamps

Hey guys, I’ve recorded some Synergy preamps that have a Marshall vibe, and just for a reference thing, I recorded my Marshall 1959HW head too. I’ve been interested on the module thing since the Egnater days, and I think this may be helpful if you are into the Synergy universe. Take care.

Changing user presets on Torpedo Live

Hi guys, I'm having a hard time changing user presets without connecting my Torpedo Live on my computer. When I change the presets on my Torpedo, it goes to Guitar and Bass presets but not into my 4 user presets, unless I plug the Torpedo into my computer (and do it using the Torpedo Remote)...

Badger 35 and Bogner Ecstasy Blue

There's been a while since my last post so just for the sake of making a new video, I recorded this using my new amp, a Badger 35, and a Bogner Ecstasy Blue (my favorite distortion pedal). I used a Torpedo Live, added some delay and spring reverb on Pro Tools. That's it...
