I Bought this used from a guy that more or less was a collector.And other than taking it out to tune it, its been in its case for me as well.
This guitar is i dare say mint.I cant find a flaw.no fret wear no scratch or even a pick scratch.
I found one scuff on the case.
everything seems to be original except the strap buttons have been changed to the locking dunlop buttons.
I cant find much online about this guitar other than it seems to be a very limited run that year.
plays fantastic.super low action and very resonant.plays and sounds like a custom shop gibson should.
Here is what ive found and/or specs
50th anniversary
they made two to three sparkle colors. 10 of each color
made in the custom shop. see back of headstock
standard lp custom woods mahogany/maple/ebony
long neck tenon
non weight relieved so it is heavy around 10lbs
57 classic pickups
stinger headstock
paperwork (certificate) included see pics
neck is .082 at first fret
.092 at 12th fret
