pretty funny moment when Bob’s explaining this rig’s signal path and operation and the listener interjects a question about the amp’s line out,
basically confirming he’s got no idea what is happening.
Bob’s reaction is priceless🤣
haven’t seen @Jdub in a cool minute!
he was in town visiting family and got front and center for the Natural Science / Rush tribute gig.
Aloha braddah Jason and nice talking surf and gear with you!🤙🏽
such a tragic loss that didn’t have to end that way. heard the stories from people who knew him before things got really rough.
after following his career since the mid 80s and seeing him live during his peak, it was hard watching him struggle the last time i saw him live in 2012 at NAMM...
for your own good.
and keep an eye out
wonder who’s coming out?
Watch out!
looks like i may be making room for a visitor named Jose at Madison Square Garage next week🫡 (not mine—just babysitting🤤)

but the part about the guitar trying to remove itself from the trash can reminded me of two similar stories shared with me by two...
Funk guitar tones are probably as popular as chocolate onions around here.

The clean tones aren't often discussed and they are pretty amazing. Long live the funk!

2) What microptich device gave you the best results?
Eventide pedals sound nice--I've used my H9 and the dedicated micropitch pedal--and my Yamaha Magic Stomp has the Pitch Shift C preset, but rack units sound best to me. Still...
