I'm kinda with you on this. Same here... economy picker for over 40 years now. Every time I tried to switch to alternate, I just never felt I could master it. I've decided to go down swinging with economy
Man best wishes on your recovery. I'm 60 now and still mtn bike couple of times a week. This area has some knarly trails and there's definitely risks there, but it's one of my favorite things to do and keeps me in great shape. It's tough getting older.
I bet we crossed paths back in the day. I was in So Cal til 1995. Frequented the KNAC events & remember all the Mark & Brian days with KLOS. I lived in HB and other areas in Orange county. Frequented the Marquee quite often.

Agree with Vito, Lynch, Warren, and it's awesome that Chris Oliva is mentioned here. I was just thinking about him yesterday cause I heard Doc (former drummer) on a local radio ad here. Chris had such cool phrasing. That band never really survived his death imo.
