Try a .033uf or .047uf cap for your tone pot if brass doesn't work and you don't want to go graphtech. I put graphtech saddles on my les paul and noticed no change in the sustain or resonance at all. The guitar is less bright though which was a plus.

Yeah it's a pretty minimal difference. A lot like my boost pedals or the strings I like to use or the picks,cables, power regulator, pots, caps, tuners, nuts.......
It's all pretty subtle.

I got a herbert and sold my fireball 100 lol. The fireball is super super brutal and raw with SO MUCH bass and mid response. You wont have trouble being heard in a live mix haha. It worked great for the tech death band I was in but it's lack of versatility and a shared EQ with the clean channel...
If you want something that is not a glorified power strip be sure to get one that is a "Voltage Regulator". That's what you are really looking for. Keeps the volts completely steady and conditions the line.
