I get that a lot and thought it's dope lol. I play drums as well, but I'm a much better drummer than a guitar player :cry: I'm using V30's in this Mesa recto cab, I have another 2 recto cabs. 1 with V30's and the other with C90's, I should try it with that cab.

Thank you, in the meantime I'm thinking about throwing in some of my foil getter Shuguangs and a Tung Sol in V1 and Sovtek LPS in the PI, then order some 6550s in a few weeks.

It's badass, I love this amp so far and after going down the rabbit hole, it's pretty much Fortin's Natas circuit which is the Elan Memran circuit with a modern power amp. I saw that it was loaded with JJ 6L6's and ECC83s and liked the tone so I left them in there for now. Shot a little phone...

Currently have 2 Dino Cazares DC GTR Demanufacture limited editions and they've become my main guitars, I love everything about them and they gave my Schecter Banshee Mach 7 and Schecter Platinum 7 the boot. Still holding onto my LTD H1007s though.

Yeah plenty of big name amp builders use toroidal transformers, Mesa, Laney, Laboga, Fender, Fryette to name a few.
