No doubt about it. IMHO that is why JCM/JMP Marshalls cut so well in the mix when you add bass drums.

yeah..same here and with anything else tone related I do a cost analysis on whether or not the $110 block has enough difference in the quality of tone i hear with my set of ears, and if I like feel and player response.

cool...interested in your take on this block. We can go over all the scientific data in terms of granite vs brass vs titanium vs snake oil but what matters is how they sound to the ears and how feel and play.

When you have your guy demo clips make sure to have some editing done so all we see and hear is guitar 1 stock block and same guitar 1 but with a stone block. No need for talking, no need to show how to swap a block, no need to tell the audience what guitar you are playing, no need to tell what...

Because StoneTone didn't have any info either which is exactly why people are thinking snake oil. If you claim a product does something, you had better have something to back it up.

I would think if you were substantiating a products claim you'd do the research and science behind it and have the cold hard data on hand. Without that data (and no two different guitars with different blocks are not accurate) it is merely snake oil intended for cork sniffers in my opinion...

I think FU is running out of things to upgrade honestly. I get a lot of their upgrades do in fact work but they seem to be getting into snake oil territory to me.

This is my first LP - 2012 Traditional Plus, waited all day on UPS yesterday and she showed up at 7pm. Great guitar and great build quality. Hard to photo as its not really that red looking in person some pics (forgive the crappy iPhone pics)

I've been wanting a Les Paul and there are way too many of them. I hate whimpy thin neck profiles and lean towards baseball bat necks. Which years LP's and LPC's have fatter necks and what are the ones to avoid in terms of poor production years?
