I’m confused by the mid eq boost. Apparently 12:00 setting is neither boost nor cut. If you move the toggle to the left, you can boost or cut the 500 range. If I cut all the 500 and then most the toggle all the way to the right and boost the 2k range, is the 500 range still cut? What if I cut...

I am about to order one or the other. Obviously having two channels is nice but the reality is, I only use ever one. I pretty much set my distortion and forget it. My question is, is it worth the extra money for the mid knob? Thoughts?
