My EVH 50 watt was sold yesterday now i have the coin for a pleximan,MK V 25,freidman PT20 or something very similar. I want a really well built tube amp for low volume playing that is reminiscent of a old modded marshall. going for the old VH tone primarily but would also like higher gain tones...

H75,evh,lynchback or V-30? In a vertical 2x12 recto style cab and playing at low volumes which of these celestions would be the clearest and still have some punch? EVH 50 watt or LBX head have both at the moment and right now the cab has 65's and i hate them. too dark and warm for my tastes...
