Not ever seen a demo of them and thought they sound better than any decent regular pickups, except they need charging with a USB cable.

I really liked my Kemper power rack, it was handy having it all in one unit.
Unfortunately I had to sell it as I came back to it during a break in a gig and it had reset itself which if that had happened during a set would have been a disaster as it takes a while to start up. Never trusted it...
Boogies don't just do a scooped sound, they have a great midrange if you dial them in. Funny though because they may as well have used Marshalls if they have the same sound as always haha!
EVH "stuck to his iconic licks" as that was HIS thing, he revolutionised so much of guitar that we can't be disappointed in him that he didn't revolutionise every time he took a solo.
