Any help from you guys would be great:
Your favorite volume pedal? and best place to put it without altering the the original tone?
I used to have an Ernie Ball many years ago. It was really good but I can't remember the model.
Thanks.
Anyone here upgraded their Floyds with brass block? A friend of mine replaced the block with a FU Tone brass one, he also got their noiseless springs and he said it really did make a difference in the sound, more low end and more sustain.
You guys have any experience in this?
Any of you guys had any experience with this? This guy is from LA and has a mod that he does, claiming that it would turn the 5150III 50w into a Stealth. The clips sounds pretty good, lots of clarity, but who knows?

DiMarzio YJM HS4 vs. Duncan YJM Fury?
You guys who have used them, opinion please. I used to play a Fender YJM with HS-3s, never got a chance to play either the HS-4 or the Fury. I know some guys actually prefer the old Dimarzio YJM.
Fender Strats: favorite or best necks that you guys came across, please list.
Mine:
-a 1973 neck: really easy to play but still has a good chunk of meat on it for all the blues bends etc.
- MIJ Pink Paisley
- 1981 JV Squier
Nice demo by Alex Hutchings, great to see Roland hiring a real serious player to demo the stuff. The Blues Cube seems like an interesting, more organic approach to amp modeling:

Been eyeing the EVH Striped red since they debuted at NAMM, but i ended up getting a 7-string. Now I'm getting ready to check the eVH out again.
I've seen some of you guys here have it, some since it came out. what's your verdict after owning it awhile now? I'm most interested in the neck and...
thinking of picking up one of these. It has a cool blend knob for the dry and the compressed signal, and the Ross-style compression sounds real good.
Anyone played or use the SP? Opinions?
Just saw this over at the SS site. This guy claimed to have signature models with Fender and Gibson(claimed to have the first 7-string signature model). Thing is, I never heard of him. Dude also refers to himself as "Maestro" :D

I've been experimenting with different tubes on the EVH 50-watt head. The TAD 6L6 that usually sounds good in my Randall MTS doesn't really quite work in the EVH, but I did find a Mesa Boogie 12AX7 works a bit better in the phase inverter than the JJ.
What some of your favorite 6L6 and 12AX7...
My Dean RC7X just came yesterday. The damn Floyd simply just will not stay in tune. Locking nut doesn't seem kto help keeping them in tune , especially with the treble strings G,B and high E.
Any suggestion please before I take it to my tech.
I only know the Ernie Ball ones that I used in the past. Are the 250k mono the ones to go? I want one that would be least intrusive to my signal chain, least altering to my tone.
Appreciate any recomendation, thanks.
i'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a guitar at ZZounds.
Any of you guys had experience dealing with them? Seem to have a really good refund policy for 45 days. I seem to recall some of you here had good deals/experience doing business with them?
Thanks
Anyone using the Arion SCH-1 Chorus here? I have it on my board for 2 years now, but didn't use it for awhile since it's not true bypass. My current gig calls for that LA lush chorus so i started using it again, it's just a great pedal to nail that Landau/Lukather lush sound.
there's something...
Vixen had some good songs back in the day. saw them back in 89 and it was a really good show, Jan wasn't a great player, but she played for the song. Share the bass player was great.
They still had it in this reunion show few years ago. sad loss.

Any of you guys try using the Blue EVH channel for clean? I've been ditching the Green and experimenting with the Blue. The gain has to be down really low, but I find it's really responsive with the guitar volume knob. It can clean up real nice when I'm backing up the guitar's volume.
Any...
Tried this today, surprise find at the store. I was also surprise how it actually played better than my FSR, neck profile seemed a little thinner, very smooth. Pickups are really nice when I compared to couple other Teles in the store. Ran it into a really cool Bad Cat combo, so the sound was a...
I used to love Kee's playing back in the day. Those solos on "Out Of This World" were great. I even bought a Larivee guitar because of him.
The new stuff he just released, I dunno  what do you guys think:

I never thought i would use Jazz IIIs again, used to use it about 2 decades ago when i was starting out.
One of the forum member was kind enough to send some of the JP Jazz III that he wasn't using awhile back, it kinda sparked my interest in them again.
But it wasn't until i started using...
