Man, this is a spot-on review. Cant beat the cleans. Everyone seems to boast of how stellar the clean channel is on a Shiva. I own a 20th and the cleans on the Ultra smoke it. I do agree with once you get your tone, leave it alone. But I still screw with the Density knob for different flavors

...and you DO NOT have to run these with the gain abover 10 or 11 oclock to get the goods Had the EL34 Stealth years ago and this is just "more" tone and gain wise. Guess I was another SLO 100...(for the 3rd time..lol)
