I used to know some full songs, but I've never been interested in learning other people's music at that level. I've learned a lot of parts of songs though, and stolen/modified them to make my own riffs/melodies.
Not a big fan of listening to shredders. I gravitate towards more "musical" guys like Andy Timmons and Nick Johnston for guitar instrumental. In the context of a "regular" band with vocals it would be Petrucci.
Metallica. They have a better understanding of song writing, which is why their thrash albums were successful and why they became so popular when they shifted from Metal to Rock.
Same, no nostalgia. These all basically came out before I was born. I didn't get into Metallica until I had gone from Slipknot into death metal. I think I heard early Sepultura first lol. All I had ever heard from them was Black Album/Load/Reload and I had no interest.
Not having AJFA as your...
My buddy took his JP to one of the top Mesa techs around and he couldn't figure it out. Sent it into Mesa, got it fixed and back in a few weeks. This was about a year ago.
Mesa doesn't do signature amps. They have 1...maybe 2 if you count the limited run King Snake, but that doesn't have Santana's name on it as far as I know.
They're the anti-ENGL.
No. Ship to his house with signature. He can have it held at UPS or FedEx if he wants. Don't assume malicious motives, but always protect yourself against them.
Thanks for the video and review!
So we're continuing the trend of (outside of squeal guy) the only people complaining about it being people that haven't played it.
