it’s probably 10 on the dot, as pictured; it’s hefty. Maybe high 9s…maybe.
D string was an old trick I heard of; I had a run where I was breaking them and top wrapping solved that, as someone who plays hard.
Not stock any longer over the years (only the wood is untouched…relatively) but this is 1997 Gibson CS Sparkleburst not unlike Steve Stevens’s pre-Knaggs. Ebony board, real pearl inlays, 10+ lbs fully loaded. Uniquely, has a smaller 1.65 nut width, which I’m grateful for.
