Hey folks, I´m thinking of buying a 7-String guitar. I played a Schecter Jeff Loomis once but over a Marshall. Has anyone experience with the EMG 707 and a Diezel? Untill now i prefer passive PU´s with my VH4... :confused:

Hey folks, my Ibanez RG1200 seems to be a "unbalanced". The neck-PU(DiMarzio PAF) ist MUCH more fatt than the bridge(DiMarzio ToneZone). I checked the wiring and even checked if its in or out of phase. But the bridge still hast very little bass and punch. So I think it´s time to buy a new one...

Hey folks, I need some advice for my Ibanez. The bridge PU sounds way too shrill! Can I mod something in the guitar that cuts off the high frequencies like adding a capacitor? Or will I have to change the PU? In this case, what will you recommend me to put in there? I´d like to have a balanced...

Yesterday I tried my Diezel FL Cab loaded with G12K100 together with a Hughes&Kettner Greenback cab. The Mix was very nice! Did anyone try this mix in one cab? Is this possible? I think the Greens are 25 Watt and the G12K100 are 100 Watt... Changing speakers is new to to me so any advice is...

I recorded some clips for a demotape last week. I recorded at high volumes. When I used CH4 I got a feedback that did not stop even when I turned the guitar down. Is there something vibrating in the Amp that causes this? The feedback only stops when I change the channel. Any idea? Settings...

I want to use a TalkBox with my VH4. To do that I´ll have to use 7x2 meters (to the TalkBox and back to the amp) speakercable. Will this have a big influence on my sound? :scared: I want to use Cordial CLS 240 or CLS 260. What do you think? Thanks for your help :thumbsup:

Here is a file I recorded with my Ibanez. What do you think about it? I used two mics, a SM57 in front of the Speaker (center) and a AKG C214 about 1,1 meter in front of the cab. There is no post EQ, just panned the two mics a little bit left and right. In the first seconds I cut first the SM57...

I connected my cabs 16 Ohm-input with the 16 Ohm Output of the VH4 and it had less bass. Before I had it connected with the 8 Ohm-in-/out-puts. Can anyone explain why there is a difference and what exactly the difference is? :confused:
