Well my AxeFx 2 showed up today, been playing all day long. Bought this to practice in my home office and gotta say with all the bad / good karma floating around with this unit.... I'm really impressed. The Cameron and Mark Day patch kick ASS :rock:

I have a pristine Marshall DSL 100 head 9.9/10 condition, should I keep it, sell it or should I Mod it?

Is a loop a standard feature on a CCV or is it an add on? Is the loop a serial or parallel loop and how transparent is it?

Just ordered some new tubes from thetubestore.com and added one of these on a whim, it sounds great. Put it in the PI position, has great gain, added a lot of clarity without being overly bright and tightened up the low end. Highly recommend it. Preferred Series 7025 The Preferred Series...

I've always used V30's and know how they sound. What are the tonal difference's between a G12M & G12H. There are so many variations G12M, G12M Heritage, G12M Anniversary, Scumback M75 etc... G12H, G12H Heritage, G12H Anniversary, Scumback H75 etc...?

Been noticing a lot of you set the bass boost on 1 for higher gain sounds. It sounds great for lower volumes. When I turn the amp up to gigging volume, I find that I need to set the bass boost to 0 otherwise it starts sounding mushy for the SL2x & EG5. Do you set the bass boost to 0 for higher...

Just like the title says. How does a 6550 sound compared to a E34LS, EL-34 or 5881. Tighter bass, More mids less mids, More treble less treble? Do you need to buy the retainer springs or do they just fit in the existing clips that come with the amp?

The head came stock with 3 EH12AX7 tubes and would like to put in some new tubes, but don't know the function of each tube. Can anyone tell me which pre-amps tubes do what in this head? Thanks,
