Had two Eclipses delivered to me broken... Getting pretty annoyed testing my luck from random website sellers, so wondering if maybe anyone on here has one that I can trust. Prefer v4.10 (latest HW rev before being discontinued), but will take anything that's v4 as long as it's not yellowed...
Different pickups in guitars. More fun that way IMO. Let each guitar have its own unique voice.
I will say I don't like mixing brands in a single guitar, though. Winding direction, magnet orientation, etc. can be a pain to deal with when you start doing that. That said, 4 conductor wiring and...
* Warranty: Lifetime. There's a whole page dedicated to it in the manual online: https://www.soldano.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/SOLDANO-SLO-100-INSTRUCTION-MANUAL-FINAL.pdf
* Cap life expectancy: ~20 years, but you can never truly predict that.
* Replacement sources: Mouser, but needs to be...

He only has 1 or 2 left, as a heads up. If someone wants one, grab it ASAP.
Bought a couple things. Once bought an expensive rack item. Arrived broken because the guy didn't pack it correctly at all. Seriously, it was a single sheet of popped bubble wrap inside a homemade box. Called up Sweetwater's Gear Exchange, and spoke to a real person about it. They told me...
If you're asking what Jake actually used so you can copy his tone, I'm not entirely sure, unfortunately. If I had to guess, it was probably a 500k pot. I think all of his sig models had a 500k pot? Not 100% sure, though.
If you're wondering what is the best way to run two singles and a...
Six months is wild and unacceptable IMO. For reference, I go to someone who is about mid to late 70s in age. His turnaround time for a full refret is a couple weeks to a month. For all intents and purposes, he's a one man show, too.
CCs/SysEx turning on/off portions of the algos is the way to get around lag between patches. You don't want to be changing patches in the middle of a song with these units. Doing it this way means you get more overall processing power for FX capabilities, but it also means rethinking how you run...
Two on TGP right now for $250 shipped that have been sitting for awhile and might accept lower offers, FWIW:

How are you comparing them? The G2 has the same algos as the MPX1 (and then some), only the G2 has the ability to forego using the pre-gain FX and provide further processing power to the post-gain FX. If you're comparing stock preset to stock preset, that's not really a fair assessment.
1. Amazing sounds, especially for the price.
2. Frustrating routing and understanding. You'll absolutely need to read the manual.
3. Absolutely requires a line mixer to properly use this.
4. If you're used to the ease of use of the G-Major/G-Force, it will probably be very frustrating to use...
He has help. It's not just him. So in the event there did happen to be an issue, I'm sure the other two contacts would be able to assist. I plan on sending him a guitar next week, so we'll see what turnaround time is like. I always tell him to take his time and it's never a rush. Maybe I should...
