Yeah man, that's their purpose. Zip tie the latches, slap a label on the case and send her off! Easy!

Looking for hotter P.A.F. type pickups for LP

I had a BBQ Bucker in my '89 Standard for a few years and really liked it. I ended up switching to the Suhr Aldrich, and have stuck with that for the last many years. The next one I'll try is the MCP 2nd Degree Blackbelt, but I'm content for now with the Aldrich. The BBQ Bucker was really...

    Dream Tone

EVH on Live Without A Net. It's the perfect raw Marshall tone, with a hint of pitch and delay. Absolutely beautiful.

Alex Lifeson in a box pedal?

I have an H2O on my acoustic pedalboard. . .great sounding pedal! I'm not looking for OD. . .just effects. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of shit. lol. I'm just curious about Lifeson's big, stereo chorus, layered delay, gates, etc (all that crazy stuff). I really think the Free The Tone...

Alex Lifeson in a box pedal?

Are there any pedals that would pretty much be a late 80s Rush style guitar tone? Alex used so much shit in his rack, but I'm thinking maybe something like the Free The Tone "Future Factory" or "Flight Time" pedals might be a good option. I'm not looking for exact matches to his sound, but a...

    Victory Amps?

I saw Richie Kotzen last year, playing thru his Victory RK combo. Pre-show, the tech came out to test them out and hit 2 or 3 chords, and it was one of the best straight up rock tones I've heard. Just great! Of course, RK came out and just dismantled the place. Crazy good.

Gig video: Ozzy's "Bark at the Moon" Axe-Fx III direct

Sounds amazing!! Did you use to gig with an AX8? I'm considering taking the plunge. I know the III is better than the AX8, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the 8.

    Bogner Uberkab vs 412ST

I had the uberkab with my 101b and was able to trade it for a standard. Glad I did it. Both sounded really good though.

    Help with wet dry wet

Your wet cabs should have stuff like delay, verb, pitch, chorus. Phaser, flanger, OD, wah, etc would be first in your signal chain and hit the dry amp (and then the wet cabs). You can mix some dry signal into your wet cabs, but don't put any delay, verb, pitch, etc in your dry cab. That...

Mesa Dual Rec Rev F Questions

I don't really miss it, but I have other amps that I used more than I ever used the Dual Recto. It did sound amazing on the orange hi gain channel with an EP Booster in front. Magic tone! But that was really the only tone I'd want to use out of it. I have a 101b and a couple vintage...

    Bogner Ecstasy Marvel Mod

I have it in my 101b, and I never thought it was 'noisy.' It just gives you 3 quick varied sounds on the Red channel. Honestly, I forget it there - I don't use it much, and it's not like the tones are drastically different (it's not like switching channels or anything).
