every time i see something new from her it is always so impressive. a breath of fresh air!
i bet some of her songs would sound great played through @ZEN Amps new Park JTM45!
Week started off very rough.
Surfing accident early Tuesday morning—board hit me in mouth and almost bit off an inch of the end of my tongue. Dangling by threads as set of the day pounded me. that was special.
drove to emergency and doc gave me 14 stitches a bottle of hydrocodone and said i...
Busy day but it’s still Sunday here in Hawaii!
Nice view this evening from the porch = Diamond Head, pineapple, and sunset over the Waikiki skyline.
Aloha Dads!!!🙏🤙
used to have a G&L asat tele that sounded amazing with my live rig, but the neck was not playing nicely in the upper frets so buh bye.
been missing the tele tones, and have a potential duo gig forming which a nice cheap tele would perfectly serve.
my strategy...
this particular story sounded a bit far fetched
https://www.newsweek.com/zak-bagans-buys-666-satanic-six-string-haunted-guitar-that-supposedly-killed-teen-1575830
but the part about the guitar trying to remove itself from the trash can reminded me of two similar stories shared with me by two...
Funk guitar tones are probably as popular as chocolate onions around here.

got a buddy’s IR-J on loan to check out this weekend. plan to link it with my Syn 2 to take it for a spin, as an alternative preamp channel in my rack rig.
If it wows me i’d consider grabbing one.
questions:
1) how many think a syn be-dlx module would be a better “ampier” choice...
people seem to have a wide range of opinions when it comes to modern 90s-now blues.
popular choices i never really bonded with are gary moore/still got the blues, joe bonomassa, and more recent robben ford tele tones.
some unique amps i’ve run across over the years that have a cool natural old...
set up my wdw config tonight and it was the first time using the mark III return as the dry amp into the 4 x12.
everything’s better with a 4x12 middle dry core and loved being able to use the III’s graphic eq to fine tune the dry. kinda makes me wish my boogie stereo 2:90 had stereo graphics...
I had this LP and saw them open for Satch/ Flying and EJ/Venus tour.
I forgot how cool this band was! Kinda like a more pop slick version of Badlands and the Vivster wails on every track with great tones!
