    More hype than heavy hitter

I’m not sure if my dream amp exists but i’m looking for a healthy balance of Marshall Keraang and extended Dual rec lows with a little bit of modern multi gain stage compression type grease but not too much. Would the Mlc Silenoz do that? What would you recommend?

    Rectos now cooler than Diezels?

I’ve seen the Vogg hated on either on here or Gearspace, so that makes sense. The Silenoz seems to be what i need, but it’s so new that most people aren’t familiar with it yet. Wish i could try the Hubert, Silenoz, and Ground Zero Recto without spending 3 grand each

    Rectos now cooler than Diezels?

Agree with you on Rezzas vids but the plus side is he makes it easy to compare a bunch of amps. Did you have a MK III?

    Rectos now cooler than Diezels?

Herbert MK III sounds great and does the compression thing i’m looking for perfectly, only thing is it’s a little too polished sounding, but then again i’m only going off demos. Has anyone got it to have a more ratty high end like the MLC in this vid?

    Rectos now cooler than Diezels?

ENGL seems cool but i feel like they’re a bit too compressed, one thing i like about Wizard and especially the Hermanssons are the type of compression they have. Fryette D120 does a similar thing. Very musical type compression that embellishes the groove of the notes instead of squashing them...

    Rectos now cooler than Diezels?

do you still have your MLC Silenoz? I have a Mark III but it’s too dry and stiff for me unless i play Metallica type stuff, so my goal has been a Marshall type flavor with modern compression. Got a 6505+, and the compression/fluidity is there, but it’s missing something, especially in the high...

Uncompressed high gainers like Peters, Wizard, Fryette + Is Peters still around?

I’ve been searching high and low for months for a modern sounding high gain amp. I’ve decided that i’m looking for something with the cocked wah mids of a 6505 or 5153, with the uncompressed dynamic feel of a Fryette Deliverance or similar. I’ve narrowed it down to a Deliverance 60, Peter’s...
