My Badlander got returned. Some guys like it but to me it was just lacking a bit in the gain and attitude department. Sounded a little neutered for heavier styles. Honestly if I was a rock player I would have absolutely kept it - the clean and low/mid gain sounds are really good on it.

I think their switch to Fractal was more based on getting a consistent sound night after night than amps/cabs being too expensive to lug around. Queue the "what's the point in sounding consistent if it sounds like shit" but I'm sure that's the real reason.

They're incredible - forget about the consistency and stability, they sound incredible as well. Extremely resonant, they just have a little "more" than most guitars I've played. I loved it so much I bought another one and rarely touch anything else anymore.
