Does anyone have experience with the Rose Morris TB6 Fawn Ac30? I believe they were made in the early 90s. If so, how do they compare to the korg TB6 Ac30?

Revisiting this thread with a question about LDR failures that some people experience with the Tverb. What are the direct symptoms that occur with the LDR failures? Does it only affect certain channels? Does it affect the rectifier section of the amp?

Hey everyone, I figure I'd try and post this here. I am looking for a Mesa Boogie Trem-o-Verb amp head. Specifically the version that is black with the tan grille cloth. If anyone has one for sale, or knows of someone who does, feel free to dm me.

Ahhhh I see. So in terms of Mesa Tubes, does the color code correspond similarly? Or is it strictly for labeling matched tubes like you said previously?

I'm thinking whenever it is that I grab a Tremoverb, I'm going to make sure that I have both sets, EL34 and 6L6, so that I'm able to switch between them. I looked at the back of the amp and noticed that there is a switch for EL34 and 6L6, so I assume there is no need to take it into a shop to...

Also, I've been looking for the trem-o-verb amp with tan grille cloth (head version) for a few months now and one popped up on my local craigslist. Sadly, it was up for less than an hour, and when I reached out to the person, it had already been sold :(

For those of you with a Trem-o-verb, are you using 6L6 or EL-34 tubes? Most of the ones i've seen have 6L6 in them, except for the rig rundown i saw in which Kim Thayil had EL-34 tubes in his. What are some characteristics of either tubes with the amp?

Got it. I guess that's where the subjective part of sound comes in to play. On a side note: I found out about Rory from a friend a few months ago and I was amazed by his playing and the tones he was able to create.

Are the Hand Wired versions the closest to the TBX models? I've seen a few HW versions on craigslist for a reasonable price.
