Hi @RossJohnDavies - some deeper investigation lead to replacing a bad preamp tube, which solved the issue. Will be keeping and enjoying my Torpedo Captor X and you'll be happy to know the Ox Box is going back to Guitar Center, the Captor does a better job for my ears at half the price. Take care.
