I really like the Gibson 496R/500T set but just can not decide on if I want to keep them or go with the EMG 60/81 setup. I am doing some mods to my Gibson Explorer and just looking for personal preferences.

with just hired hands? I personally am not a big fan but like a few songs. I've heard that the lead singer is pretty much the band. The rest of them have been interchanged with replacements a lot the last few years. If that's true it doesn't seem like much of a band to me.

Accidentally plugged my 8 ohm cab into my Mark IV's 4 ohm output. Played for a while like that but could tell something sounded off. It sounded weaker and less aggressive. After a while I realized the issue and corrected it. All seems fine but..... Any damage from this mismatch?

Personally I've like all the Solando amps I have tried. Currently own a Hot Rod 25 and love it. Pretty much cured my amp GAS. Just a rocking amp!

I've tried a ton of different cabs and of them all I still own the Bogner and my Mesa Recto 2x12. The Bogner OS just sounds so massive, clear, articulate and organic. The Mesa sounds great also but just more compressed and less organic than the Bogner OS. The Mesa has to be my #2 favorite of all...

what should I expect? I love the amp to death already. Such a killer sounding amp. Hoping the depth mod makes it even better, if that is possible. Any of you guys have a Soldano with the depth mod? What are your thoughts?

I gigged mine last weekend and this amp is so amazing sounding to me. I keep GASSING for other amps but not sure why. Just the nature of being a gear whore I guess. :D The Soldano Hot Rod 25 along with my Mesa Boogie Mark IV and '94 Trem-o-verb do everything I will ever need.
