FSoT: Line 6 M9 Stompbox Modeler

Sold everything but the M9. Someone grab this, these are awesome, I just don't have room on my board for it anymore!

Boost That Tightens + Grinds: Go

It's awesome. I just played it this morning and I think I might be crazy for listing it

Boost That Tightens + Grinds: Go

Yep, this is how I always use them for high gain. Lately, I've been using my board for a lot more and have actually been exploring the range of an OD pedal. I didn't realize how much gain some of them have. Since I only have dual function pedals on my board now, I can easily get to metal levels...

Boost That Tightens + Grinds: Go

It's funny how people's tastes are so different. I've had several Klones over the years and just never really cared for them. I had the Chiron and it was a well-built pedal, but the last Klone I'll buy. I just don't dig that tone 🤷‍♂️ I currently have a Strymon Sunset, Jackson Audio Broken...

    Fryette Cyclops

Yep, I don't really get why the other ones are so much more popular. The de Lisle is awesome, and way cheaper. I have 4 amps and 4 cabs plugged into mine and use my PowerStation into the attenuator loop to run my pedalboard into it, so I have one shared loop. Great setup, I got my 4x4 Deluxe for...

    Rectos now cooler than Diezels?

I more recently had a Rev G to see if I just missed something the first 10 times I had one, since the hype on them lately is through the roof. They are cool amps, but I don't really get it when there are others that do that boosted sound even better and they cost about as much as a Recto does...

    Fryette Ultralead/CLX/Sig X

Saw your amp posted earlier. How much were you looking to get for the cab? :p

    What's the best amp?

Yep. I don't know what it is about that amp. I wouldn't say it's my best for metal. It's not the first one I reach for for cleans, either. But every single time I plug into that amp, it just brings a smile to my face. It just sounds and feels right. Hard to explain to someone who hasn't played...

    Fryette Ultralead/CLX/Sig X

Interesting. I don't know if I checked the bias on it, but it did seem to thicken up the louder I played it. The problem was that I had to play it stupidly loud and I didn't have my power station at that time. I also wasn't convinced that the sound was really for me, regardless. I ended up...

    Fryette Ultralead/CLX/Sig X

Yeah, I don't even generally use that much gain, so I don't know why the SigX couldn't cut it for me. I thought a preamp tube was dead so I retubed the whole thing. Nope. For reference, on amps like the 5150s, I usually set gain around 4/10 with no boost. The SigX barely got that with both gains...

    Fryette Ultralead/CLX/Sig X

Yeah, that's why I sold my UL as well. Always thought I'd like the CLX a lot, but never tried one as they seem much more rare. I liked the 50/CL the best but the Deliverance was very cool, I just needed more than one channel at the time.
