So briefly, I have a chance of buy the 50 watt combo. I'm assured the MV is as good as other Diezels so I will be able to use at home and in small pub gigs.
I'm going to play the amp next week, but its a 4 hour drive to get there. Before I go and play it can anyone confirm if the following...
Just a very quick question; is the MV on the Einstein combo as good at achieving low home volumes as the other Diezel amps? I've found one for sale and quite fancy a portable Diezel combo that I can use at home and small pub gigs.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks.
Okay folks, I'm getting really in Petrucci, his tone and his paying. Now I know (as does everyone else) that he's a MKV user.
I don't want to buy a Boogie as I've had problems with one of their amps a while back, so which Diezel would you recommend I check out for a bit of Petrucci tone?
Thanks!
A combo is the most practical solution for my needs, mainly due to transport and smaller venues. I really love the BE100 but its just not practical even with a 212 cab. So can a small box combo with a boost get me anywhere close to the hbe?
Thoughts/advice?
Hi,
I'm down sizing due to no longer getting out to play much these days (just the odd pub/club gig), old age lol and moving to a smaller place.
Amps that are probably going include 5150, Dual Rec, Marshall 2061x and a Divided By 13 BTR 23. I'm not sure of selling the BTR23 - I will if I can...
I have some mixed emotions about my situation. My uncle has recently passed away and he has left me two amazing Marshall amps - a 1966 JTM45 and a 1982 JCM 800 - they were his much loved amps and the JTM45 has some interesting provenance. I'm due to pick them up next week.
My situation is...
A while ago there was a guy who did a demo of the Herbert on YouTube using a vintage Gibson Gold Top? He played low'ish volume classic rock/pop stuff.
Long shot but can anyone point me to the video - have trawled YTube but couldn't find it.
Thanks
Hi,
No longer out there gigging but have a number of very nice amps that I don't want to let go, but certainly cannot play them at home.
So, how do I get from my Dual Recto to some active studio monitors? I was thinking Torpedo Live and then into a PreSonus AudioBox 1818vsl and then into...
Just a quick question; is the Einstein combo still being made?
I've looked around on the web to see there any for sale in Europe and I coming up with nothing.
I'm seriously GAS'ing over a Schmidt for a go to blues/crunch amp and I was looking at a single cab to match. I then thought I see a few of my blues musicians playing out with a 115 cab - often with a Jensen P15N in the cab.
So is it a good idea to try this with a Schmidt or not - what do you...
Can anyone tell me if the Schmidt is any good for low volume late night practice, given no master volume?
Sort of GAS'ing a Schmidt and I need to play one before deciding, but would welcome your views on how the amp performs at low volume. Or should I look for a Diezel with MV?
Thanks.
Okay for all the usual reasons I moved to digital of downsizing my rig and amps, a move to a smaller house, need for low volume practice and need to use headphones etc...
Well the honeymoon period is over and digital just ain't working for me and even with tone matching, I just spend too much...
Just a very quick question - is the only difference between the 50 and 100 head the extra headroom the 100 offers over the 50 or are there any tonal differences between the two?
Asking this question on behalf of my pal.
Which of the Diezel amps will give him a 'blank canvass' cleans channel - by that he means will be best suited for him to shape with all his stomp boxes, as he's into his Gilmour / Floyd and swaps out pedals regularly. He uses ODs/Fuzz/Modulation/Delay...
Okay first up forgive me for I have sinned... I went from a Diezel Einstein to an Axe Fx II but now I want to return back to Diezel - why, well I miss the 'real' Diezel tone and I'm about to head off out gigging again as well has hacking around at home.
I was thinking of getting another...
Okay the fact is I've been playing around for some time with modeller i.e. the Axe Fx now this isn't a criticism of the kit but more of me. I just spent far too much time messing around with the whole thing wether it be amp/cab sims and just not enjoying the tones I got either at home or via...
Not wishing to dwell on what has been a bad few weeks, but to cut a long story short my Einstein combo was damaged when left at a pals house and a water mains burst.
I've had the insurance assessor deem my amp is beyond repair and I should within the next few weeks get a check to the value of...
I have this dilemma.... for quite some time I've lusted after a Modena M60 and I've just about saved enough cash to buy one new. However, I have just come across a great example of a used Masotti X3M preamp which again is something I've looked at in the past, but have never pulled the trigger...
