First single from my band "The Janitors of Chaos".

Thanks for checking it out. We do have an instrumental mix, we will put that out at some point. Possibly as a bonus for anyone that buys the album. There are also two instrumentals on the album. ;)

First single from my band "The Janitors of Chaos".

Haha, our bassist/singer actually was one for a bit. Complete coincidence. Band name is sort of a Ninja Gaiden 2 inside joke gone wrong.

This song brought the love back playing guitar. Ron Thal

Bumblefoot is one of the best there is. Opening for him is probably the coolest show I have ever played, and his performance was the most impressive thing I have ever seen from a musician, both vocal and on guitar.

    Gotoh Trems?

Gotoh is the best there is, easily.

    Saw Eric Johnson last night

Saw him again in Seattle. He was fantastic, as was Arielle. Eric had probably the best clean tone I have heard. His lead tone was extremely muddy, unfortunately. I may have been too close to the stage, or perhaps his new Faceface just doesn't do it for me. Still, an incredible show!

    G3, who is your pick...

Assuming Joe, I would add Bumblefoot and Steve Morse. No Joe, I would add Jimmy Herring. If it is just new players that have never been on a G3, then Brett Garsed. My real dream lineup would be Vai, Satriani, Morse, and ME! :D

Which decade had the best guitar tones overall?

I chose the 70s. Even mediocre players had listenable sounds. My favorite tones came from later years (Fair Warning, Chris Poland, Engines of Creation, Passion and Warfare, Jimmy Herring, Alice in Chains, King's X, etc.), but those were exceptions. The average guitar tone of later years is...

    String Poll Time Again

Been using D'Addarios since I was a kid, but I don't really care. I know I don't like the modern new technology stuff by Ernie Ball, but I generally can't tell the difference from brand to brand.

So, what high gain pedals are the real deal?

I get some useable tones out of a Maxon Od9 into a Suhr Riot. Gain around noon on the riot, od9 low gain/high level.

Tell me more about Tom anderson please?

I used to have 7, here is a shot from back then. Had to sell 2 in order to cover some bills for my ex. Oops. https://instagram.com/p/BOjFQzRgdct/

Tell me more about Tom anderson please?

Best guitars on earth. I currently have 5, and I put their pickups in most of my other guitars. I use a Suhr and Ibanez Jem live, because I need 24 frets for a lot of my stuff. Most of my album is Andersons. Dying to get an Angel!

Overrated guitar players.... Underrated guitar players...

Underrated (at least, undermentioned): Bumblefoot, Carl Verheyen, Jimmy Herring, T.J Helmerich, Brett Garsed, Dweezil Zappa
